When I moved to Asia I had 10k battles and I was playing around 57% on EU server. Based on my experience, gameplay on EU server is (or at least was) far more aggressive than on Asia server. I have 20k games on Asia server (2016 - 2018) and 23k on EU server (2014 -). So on eu, players just camp? That's great! It also means hall of fame entries from eu could be from this matchmaking meaning theyre not achieved in a fair way (fair being a random matchmaker that includes the whole player base) " its not fake, wg implemented a new matchmaking system on eu where by your first 5k battles on a new account are played against newer players on new accounts with sub 5k battles, experienced players are abusing this system to avoid fighting better players on veteran accounts, meaning their stats are inflated making wn8 on blitzstars completely innacurate as its based on a matchmaking system that fights the whole player based, this one does not. You can sort the HOF by region if you want, which eliminates any problem of this type." I’m not sure that it matters that much anyway. Perhaps it does on the RU server, but there are fewer RU players in the BlitzStars database than there are NA players. There has been a thread on the EU forum recently questioning whether it goes into effect very often there either.
Since it only goes into effect when there are enough players it happens less often on the NA server. " New player matchmaking applies to all servers as far as I know.
